Poetry 2.0 / שירה 2.0

Hebrew poetry has been written since biblical times and continues to be written even today. Throughout the generations, the style of poetry has been shaped and perfected. The later periods' poets included in their poetry a reference to the poems of the periods that preceded them. A central part of the State of Israel's design and the beginning of its culture is modern poetry, thanks to a respectable number of poets whose work has greatly influenced Israeli society. My final project deals with the connection of modern Hebrew poetry with the young society (generation Z) in Israel. The main goal is to make their acquaintance with Hebrew poetry accessible through a visual way. As part of the project, I selected five of the most influential and respected poets in the world of Hebrew poetry, among them: Haim Nachman Bialik, the poet Rachel, Shaul Tchernichovsky, Leah Goldberg and Yehuda Amichai. From their many poems, I have chosen five stanzas belonging to different poets. I analyzed them, characterized them and chose a visual presentation for each of them. I chose to make the houses accessible by animation, and created five 3D loop animated videos, so that after watching the loop again, the poet's intention passes. Each video features a quote from a different stanza, reflecting my interpretation of today's reality.
